# DELETE YOUR MERO NEPAL ACCOUNT

This page explains how to request deletion of your **Mero Nepal** account and the data associated with it. You do not need to install the App to make this request.
# 1. HOW TO REQUEST DELETION
– In the App: open Settings, then Account, then Delete Account, and confirm
– By email: write to meronepalapp@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. We will verify ownership before acting on the request
# 2. 30-DAY GRACE PERIOD
– When deletion is requested, your account is scheduled for deletion in **30 days**
– During this **30-day grace period** you can cancel the deletion simply by logging in again
– After **30 days** without login, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted
# 3. WHAT IS DELETED
– Profile information and settings
– Kundali and horoscope data
– Money Manager records: transactions, accounts, budgets, categories and notes
– Money Manager backups held in the App’s private application-data folder in your Google Drive
– Chat history and messages
– Location preferences
– Usage analytics associated with your account
– Horoscope Points and QA Points, which are forfeited on deletion and hold no cash value
# 4. WHAT IS RETAINED
– Anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for service improvement
– Records we are required to keep by law, tax rules, or for fraud prevention, retained only for as long as required
– Purchase and subscription records held by Google Play or the Apple App Store are controlled by those stores, not by us. Manage or cancel a subscription through your app store account before deleting your account
– Receipt photographs saved to your own device gallery under “Pictures/Mero Nepal/Money Manager” remain on your device. Delete them yourself if you no longer want them
# 5. HOW LONG IT TAKES
Deletion may take up to **30 days** to complete across all systems after the grace period ends.
